I’ve only just got around to watching Antonioni’s Zabriskie Point, while it is one of his weaker efforts, the final scenes with the explosions is quite magical. It’s a shame a youtube video isn’t good quality and so can’t capture the details that make this a wonderful piece of film. I’m not normally an explosion loving girl, I don’t like Michael Bay, but Antonioni seems able to change my opinion. Music is by Pink Floyd, as it originally exists within the film.
